NLA Green Property Woman Award

This is a chance for landlords to highlight the steps they are taking to ensure their properties and tenants are having a positive effect on the environment. Entrants are encouraged to bring to life commitments made to help ensure their rental homes and tenants are increasingly energy efficient, examples of the positive benefits/differences their green steps have made and future goals to help make their rental future greener.

  • Have you made energy efficient improvements to your properties?
  • Do you encourage your tenants to be as eco-friendly as possible?
  • Have you made serious attempts to make your lettings business greener and cleaner?

NLA Young Property Woman Award

This is a chance to celebrate younger landlords who have made early investments in the market and are already reaping the rewards. Entrants are encouraged to bring to life their lettings history, including their inspiration behind getting started in property at such a young age, success stories to date and goals and ambitions for the future.

  • How did you become involved in property?
  • What's the story behind your success?
  • How would you inspire other younger people to get into letting property?

NLA Letting Agent Property Woman Award

Just because female letting agents don’t own the properties they manage it doesn’t mean they aren’t every bit as passionate about their business as the landlords with whom they work. Entrants should demonstrate a thorough knowledge of their profession and show how they conduct their lettings in a way that goes above and beyond the day-to-day. Every little counts for this award

  • What is the story behind your career?
  • How have you gone the extra mile in your job? What are you particularly proud of?
  • What makes you stand out from other letting agents? How has this played a part in your success?

NLA Local Authority Property Woman Award

'Behind the scenes' in the private-rented sector are a whole host of women who are just doing their job. But for landlords, good experiences with local councils can make all the difference. From engaging with the sector, being a point of contact with landlords and tenants, or simply just being there to offer advice and support, local authority officers help make the local rental sector thrive.

Perhaps you have held forums for landlords, or assisted with housing benefit. Maybe you have worked to house tenants privately that no one else would take. Perhaps you're an Environmental Health Officer, or work in the Housing Benefit team, or you help out with Tenant Relations? Whatever your role, you’ve helped to make a difference and forge strong relationships with the landlords who provide much needed housing. Your time has come for some recognition.

  • What is the story behind your career? Why do you enjoy working in a local authority?
  • How have you gone the extra mile in your job? What are you particularly proud of?
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd? How has this played a part in your success?
